WELCOME TO USD 330 Mission Valley

USD 330 Mission Valley is a 3A rural school district in Northeast Kansas with an enrollment of 440 students and a total staff of 124 employees.  The school is located approximately 8 miles from the towns of Dover, Eskridge, and Harveyville at 12913 Mission Valley Road. The district has one main educational building for all students (PK-12) and a district office located at 511 East 2nd Avenue in Eskridge.  

USD 330 employs a Superintendent/Director of Special Services, 9-12 Principal, 7-8 Principal/Activities Director, and a K-6 Principal.  Additional staff includes 49 licensed personnel and 69 classified personnel. The area of the district is 372 square miles with land in Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Osage, and Lyon counties.  The assessed valuation of the district is $39,123.33 with a General Fund budget of $4,541,100 and Local Option Budget of $1,448,839. The district’s mill levy is 61.020. Mission Valley High School opened at the current location in 1972 and in 2004 the K-8 building was added.

USD 330 Mission Valley provides a high quality education in a rural setting.  Students receive instruction in the core academic areas while having additional opportunities for enrichment and specified learning.  Classrooms are equipped with an array of technology devices including inter-active Promethean Boards. Students PK-2 have Ipads available to use while 3rd-6th students utilize Chromebooks.  At the 7th-12th grade level each student is issued a Chromebook to use throughout their school year.  

Assistance for academic, behavior, emotional needs can be received through such programs as:  Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Counseling, Social Work, Title 1, Section 504, and Special Education.  USD 330 Mission Valley also works directly with various local agencies to assist students and families to acquire services they may need.  Students are the 1st priority of USD 330 Mission Valley and it is believed that all students have the right to a quality education that is in a safe and healthy environment.

USD 330 Mission Valley is a member of the Flint Hills League which includes the districts of: Central Heights, Chase County, Council Grove, Lyndon, North Lyon County, Osage City, and West Franklin.  USD 330 offers a wide range of athletic programs—football, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, track, baseball and softball. USD 330 also provides opportunities for students to showcase their talents in Fine Arts {Forensics, Band, Vocal Music, Art}, as well as, outstanding programs/clubs/organizations such as FCA, FCCLA, FBLA, FFA, Kays, Scholar’s Bowl, and National Honor Society.  Many of these programs achieve recognition at the state and national level on an annual basis.
